Each Makro own-brand product is specially selected by Makro’s buyers to ensure that our customers get quality assured products from audited suppliers. We use national and international buying power as part of the Metro Group to source products direct from the producer.
Supplier production sites are audited to the highest standards before they can be approved to supply Makro own brand products. Products are constantly analysed to ensure that they consistently reach the specifications set by Makro.

Makro operates a strict quality management system to ensure that you can buy with confidence - from the point of manufacture, through handling during distribution and at store display level until it is used by our professional customers.
Before any Makro own brand products are launched, a sensory panel ensures the product meets Makro’s high quality standards. Products are assessed for flavour, mouth feel, and appearance as criteria that Makro knows will be important to its customers.
